What Happened When I Finally Put Out Book Three
Book three is in the world now.
I keep saying it like I’m still getting used to it. Beyond Tarnish is out, Katherine Carson is back, and I’ve spent the last couple of weeks finding out what it actually feels like when a book you’ve worked on finally meets people.
You’d think by book three I’d have this figured out. I’m starting to think that’s not how it works.

Golden Oldies! Today’s playlist on Youtube.
I listen to different kinds of music depending on what I’m working on. Oldies remind me of the gang of Shady Glenn in my Margaret Mitchell Mysteries.
Sherlock Holmes Short Stories. Rereading well loved novels and stories is one of my favorite ways to refresh and refill after finishing a novel. Lately I’ve been listening to Conan Doyle’s classics read by Hugh Bonneville in a podcast by Noiser. Highly recommend!

The Case of the Poison Powder, the first Margaret Mitchell Mystery is available as an ebook at Amazon and on Kindle Unlimited. I’m currently working on the second novella in this cozy cousin to Carson Crime Files starring Katherine’s best friend Margaret and her white terrier, Spotty.
